Bagel Bruschetta
Get more mileage out of your favorite summer bruschetta recipe by serving it in an unexpected way – on top of a fresh whole wheat bagel.

Ingredients
- 1 whole wheat bagel cut in half
- 2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic cut in half
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Brush cut sides of bagel halves with oil. Broil, cut-side up, 2 minutes or until bagels are toasted. Rub with garlic.
- Mix tomato and basil in a small bowl. Season with black pepper.
- Top bagels with tomato mixture.
