Oatmeal Raisin Energy Bites
How do you pack this much energy into one little bite? Whole grains! These grab and go snacks will keep you charged through all of your daily activities.
Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup steel cut oats
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix oats, flax seed, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a medium bowl. Add almond butter, honey and vanilla. Mix well to form a sticky dough. (If dough is too sticky, add more rolled oats. If dough is a bit too dry, add more almond butter to get just the right consistency.)
- Roll into 1-inch balls. Place in airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to one week.
