Whole Wheat Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce
This whole wheat pasta casserole with tomato cream sauce is rich, comforting and perfect for an easy family dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 (14.5 oz.) box whole wheat penne pasta
- 8 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese
- 2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 (28 oz.) can seasoned diced tomatoes
- 2 cups shredded lowfat mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Fold in marinara sauce and canned tomatoes. Pour into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
