Ham & Pimento Cheese Drop Biscuits

Ham and pimento cheese are the perfect combo for these delicious drop biscuits that are so easy to make!

Ham & Pimento Cheese Drop Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 cup all-purpose flour (or mix half and half with whole wheat)
  • 1 cup pimento cheese
  • ¾ cup diced ham
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter frozen
  • 1 ½ cup whole milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 475°F. Spray two baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, cheese, ham, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
  • Grate butter using the large holes of a box grater and stir into flour mixture.
  • Add milk and combine until a soft dough forms.
  • Using a cookie or ice cream scoop, drop 2-inch mounds onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake 14-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
