Classic Tuna Sandwiches
It’s time to raise the bar on the good ol’ tuna sandwich. This classic tuna sandwich is creamy, flavorful and easy to make for a quick, protein-packed lunch option.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces albacore tuna, packed in water drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 6 Romaine lettuce leaves torn in half
- 12 slices whole wheat bread
Instructions
- Mix tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, carrots, red bell peppers, and celery in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Top half of the slices of bread with lettuce. Spoon tuna on top and add second slice of bread to make 6 sandwiches.
