Supreme Pizza Drop Biscuits

These pizza drop biscuits are loaded with classic toppings. They are cheesy, savory and perfect for an easy snack or crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Supreme Pizza Drop Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (or mix half and half with whole wheat flour)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons garlic powder divided
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup butter frozen
  • 1 ½ cup whole milk
  • 12 slices pepperoni diced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • ½ cup finely diced green pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, ¾ tsp. garlic powder, Italian seasoning and salt in a bowl.
  • Grate butter using the large holes of a box grater and stir into dry ingredients.
  • Stir in milk, pepperoni, onion, peppers and cheese until well blended.
  • Using a cookie or ice cream scoop, drop 2-inch mounds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Stir melted butter and remaining ½ tsp. garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush onto tops of warm biscuits.
