
Asian Ginger Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
Mango Cilantro Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 medium mango peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro chopped
Turkey Burger Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 3 green onions chopped
- 2 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs or old-fashioned oats
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper
- Shredded lettuce
- Fresh cilantro
- 4 kaiser rolls or hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, lime juice and honey. Stir in mango and cilantro. Season with black pepper, to taste. Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
- Preheat oven broiler.
- In a large bowl, mix turkey, green onions, breadcrumbs or oats, peanut butter, ginger, soy sauce, garlic, black pepper and red pepper. Form into 4-6 patties and place on baking sheet.
- Broil 4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Spread mango mayonnaise on rolls. Top with patties, lettuce and fresh cilantro.
