Ingredients
- 3 cup all-purpose flour (or mix half and half with whole wheat)
- 1 cup prepared pimento cheese spread
- ¾ cup diced ham
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¾ cup unsalted butter frozen
- 1 ½ cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees, prepared two sheet pans with baking spray.
- In a large bowl combine flour, cheese spread, ham, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Grate butter using the large holes of a box grater, stir into the flour mixture.
- Add milk and combine until a soft dough forms.
- Using a cookie or ice cream scoop, drop 2-inch mounds onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 14-18 minutes until golden brown.
