Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole wheat bagel cut in half
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic cut in half
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brush cut sides of bagel halves with oil. Broil, cut-side up, 2 minutes or until bagels are toasted. Rub with garlic.
  • Mix tomato and basil in a small bowl. Season with black pepper.
  • Top bagels with tomato mixture.
