
Apple Brown Betty Recipe

Ingredients
- 6 apples peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 slices whole grain bread cubed and lightly toasted
- 1/2 cup butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large baking dish, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Top with the toasted bread cubes, and drizzle with melted butter.
- Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes.
