Strawberry Short Cake
This classic strawberry shortcake features sweet berries, fluffy cake and a whipped topping. It is a simple, crowd-pleasing dessert.

Ingredients
Biscuit

all-purpose flour

granulated sugar

baking powder

salt

frozen unsalted butter
grated

cup
skim milk
Filling

cups
sliced strawberries
1
tablespoon
sugar
2
cups
whipped cream topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a medium bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add grated butter and mix well. Add milk and continue to mix until a ball forms.
Knead with your hands for a few minutes, then make into 10 balls. Place balls on baking sheet and press down to flatten into thick patties.
Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
Meanwhile, mix strawberries and sugar in a medium bowl.
Split biscuits and layer with strawberries and whipped topping.
